All the Indians have to see this problem in right perspective. GST got delayed as BJP opposed in Rajya Sabha earlier. Now it is getting delayed as Congress is opposing it in Rajya Sabha. So the basically problem is with Rajya Sabha. It is time to cut to size this body that is not elected representatives of the people. Lok Sabha must have final say on making a law. This will ensure people get what they want and do not suffer due to in-fighting among parties

What to write on judiciary delay in India? Delay in judiciary basically takes away all the benefits that democracy have. It turns democracy in to Jungle Raj and all are out to robe others by all means without fear of   justice. This is going on since last 70 years. People have been robbed by politicians. What is heart sinking is even present government have not shown any interest and plan to expedite judiciary system. Unless this is done, we as democratic country shall go nowhere. All intelligent people are out for human right, right of speech etc but none have shown any interest in judiciary reform and speeding up judiciary system. God bless India.

Overloaded government departments and wasting tax payer's money!

Government is already overcrowded with some useless and confused employee. There are so many laws, written and unwritten, clear and ambiguous, old and new. Add to this lot of manual work. I do not think we need more than 50% of present government employees. With this number also we can get better services. Government must go on line for all the activities and reduce staff further.

Constitution or no constitution. If it fails to deliver to improve life of people, it must be scrapped/modified/re-write. Nariman is sticking to constitution like a blind follower. In fact I would say, it was written by the people with biased minded, some Saints, some caste biased, some foreign sighted and so on. Nobody was having foresight of India. I believe Modi and Yogi have that foresight at present and they must be allowed to work within constitution or outside constitution, if required. Imminent literate like Nariman or like-minded should join for change that is good for the country. It is no use to cling to dead wood.

UP and India got a real leader!!

UP and India got a real leader. What is needed from public at large is to back him by continuously writing of him and when needed showing sign of support by show street. Common people must understand that in democracy, all need to show support to good things and deny that are bad actions. If not done evils may take over as has happened since last 70 years!!!!

Great actions! The first thing needed to take such actions is selflessness. All most all leaders have own interest in becoming MLA/MP/Minister. All the government officials believe that they are on permanent roll of government and nobody can touch them, whether they work or not. In fact they expect (take) bribery for work. Had we got leaders like Modi/Yogi at the time of independence, we would have been developed country by now. Leaders from Gandhi till MMS had no foresight for country. Some were Saints and others were spectators. It is absolutely important that this government continue at least for next 10-15 years. Leaders take hard decisions for the future of country, let it hit some very hard and bring pain.

For him a new ministry named should be created " Laughing Ministry". As a person can do only one thing at a time, this ministry shall be suitable for him. Otherwise serving people as minister or even MLA is full time serious job. Most of the MP, MLA, Ministers would not like to do it. Who becomes minister for serving people?

What a progress India made for ease of doing business! In more than 2 years  'ease of doing business index improved' from 131 to 130 place! Clear 1 place up! This area is not been touched by Modi yet. He must know that this is one of the most important area to be made transparent, quick and time bound. Unless this is done common people shall continue to suffer (as they cannot escape) and foreign investment shall shy away, as doing today. Of course, they shall come in stock market but not in real productive area, industries.

What a tragedy Indian Democracy have? A non-performing MP (Amarindar Singh) have been made CM of Panjab. Whole fault of this goes to Previous CM who did really nothing for the state. Drugs spread all over Panjab and old man just looked on. Of course new CM shall also not be able to do anything as he is not the real leader. So result is zero. It is bad luck of Panjab. It lost 10 years!!!!

Most of the officials working in government offices are basically coward as they are doing all non-sense act like "chewing pan and spitting" without any fear as actions have never been taken. Reason: all superiors and even ministers are chewing pan and spitting. Movies have shown this culture as great! You name Pan and Mr. Big Hero comes to mind. Yogi is doing absolutely correct. This and such bad habits must be kept at home. Any one spitting must be punished. I am sure officials shall behave now onwards.

My opinion;

Bloomberg said something and ET simply copy. Great work! Please remember Bloomberg is in country where people are educated and not illiterate like Indian. I feel Bloomberg did not like rising star like Modi as stars borne only in US and Europe! I also think Bloomberg have enough in hand looking to what turmoil going on in US. It should stop looking in to other countries with such biased mind.

Great start. He has given promises to people and people have elected him. He must try to fulfil all the manifestos. Loan Waiver is biggest of all. If he does it, there shall be little money available for development. As a compromise, he should pardoned only small part of loan. He must know that free bees do not bring any benefit on long term. There are only drawbacks. Let farmers fill a little let down. Development shall be seen by all in future and so more money should be allocated to it. Lawlessness is another biggest sin in UP under family run government and vote bank policy. It must be eradicated. The great thing is: he is putting target date for every action and this is unparalleled in politics. He needs no Harvard degree. Strick actions for good future are always welcome by people. Of course, opportunists will be against it in the beginning.

Is Media doing constructive work?

HT should have written this heading better than this. It should have added “even before Yogi started work" at the end of heading. What a biased news! It looks it is media that stir up disturbance in the society just to have HOT news. Hope HT shall take this advice. I wonder if media is doing dis-service to nation rather than informing masses

Failure to recognize path of process..in UP

News Paper starts criticizing BJP before UP government formed.

Absolutely wrong heading by newspaper! In fact it is  silly. I never know that these paper Walla afraid of change so much. Leaders bring change and change for good. Modi is doing it and Yogi shall do it. However such comment from newspaper creates hurdle in implementation and creates confusions and doubts before process starts. These papers creates wall in implementation of program for all. I am sure it will be realized soon. Paper must look for development and improving living standard of people.

Indescipline in Indian factories.....

Foundation of Rioting in factory has been laid by our union leaders of past, starting from George Fernandes. There were many union leaders terrorising business. They were not punished properly. There was also corrupt government most of the time looking for vote from workers. This militancy increased year by year. The worst effect is lack of investment and progress of country. India remain a backward country with $2,000 per capita income. Employer must have free hand to change & replace inefficient person. Unless this is done, manufacturing growth is impossible.

Most of the 10 controversies indicated here are not really controversies. They are plain fact base on equality and impartiality. Attitudes shown by past leaders to pocket votes have been corrected by Yogi. That is not controversy. Now what we should monitor is next actions of Yogi and then conclude his performance. So all media should wait and see his performance and then comment.

60% of Indian engineers are unemployed!!!!

60% of engineering graduates are unemployed at present. The reason is poor education! There is nothing far from truth! Let us face it. Let us understand the reason “ simply there are no jobs.” There is no economic progress and population of engineers is exploding. Modi cannot solve this problem by slogans. He has to act on both fronts; fast economic development & population control. This is the only way to solve unemployment problem in long term. Otherwise be prepared to face social upheaval..... There is no escape.

Why Indian employee need to go to other countries.

It is no use advising US. First Prasad should look within the country. Employees are going abroad to have opportunities and better life. All past crooked leaders have ensure that government run haphazardly and in the process they milk the cow. All past leaders are illiterate, unorganized and short sighted. The result is what we are. The educated have to go to other country to beg for job. This will continue for many more years as nothing much have been done in past 2 1/2 years. For corruption, living standard, poverty index and ease of business we are at same place. Better to pray God ....

22 lacs cases pending in Gujarat Courts only!!!

Only statistic presentation and comparing with other states? What about reasons of delay, how to cut time, what actions and what is target? Nothing? This is how we bring inefficiency. All the delay reasons should be listed and immediate actions taken to remove them. Target should be to complete at least 2,00,000 cases per year and nothing less. But all this need leadership and we have very little, if at all, of it. Everything is messed up. Many takes benefits out of present system. God bless India and Gujarat.

India being praised for issuing identity card!!!!

Is giving "identity' card to all Indians is too big a task after 70 years of independence? What kind of "small" thinking we have? Giving Aadhar card is much delayed due to non-sense talking of many leaders. It is not clear when our leaders shall start thinking long term. No need to say we, so called intelligent Indians, have so far not realized consequences of exploding population. This has to be one of the top priority immediately. Let us pray Namo looks in to this.

Next steps for Indian PM Modi

Developing UP is good. It should be done by state government. However this is only small part. The most important jobs Modi government should take up are stream lining governing processes and making them transparent. Making time bound activities and approvals. And quick justice system. Only this will go long way to improve living standard. Population stabilization is a must to push up living standard. Namo, by now must have realized that people are with him and he can take whatever decisions, may be painful, to improve living standard and reduce corruption. He must have read latest report on corruption lever we have in India.

Demonetizationn will not reduce corruption in India

Absolutely correct observation. Indian corruption that run in every Indian's blood can not be removed with steps like demonetization. As said, it need well laid path, that is painful and extremely difficult. What Namo has done in last 2 1/5 years and extension of it for next 7 1/2 years will not remove corruption to great extent. It may dampen a bit. That is it.  Nothing more.

Rajya Sabha, a common block to progress!

The question who have majority in Rajya Sabha is important at present. However it places more important to non elected representatives as against elected. And this is what need to be corrected. Rajya Sabha is basically should be advisory body and nothing else. For this constitutional changes must be adopted to as soon as possible. Namo must do it for good future of country. It can stop the decision of Lok Sabha only in critical decision like nuclear war or similar. Else it must remain advisory body, may be like President.
