No rule on triple talaq in Quran, says Salma Ansari- A News
Highest positioned woman, wife of vice-president of India,
Salma Ansari, said Triple Talaq is not given in Quran so it has no standing.
This is GOOD BUT NOT SUFFICIENT. She need to move further by saying that Triple
Talaq is not consistent with the time we are living where there is equality of
men and women and humanity is core value. It is not important if it is given in
Quran or not. One has to evaluate everything based on time and value we
believe. This is true for any religion.
Hope to have more intelligent people to come out on such issue.
