Right to privacy is fundamental right in India......

It is great to have right to privacy! However absolute right to privacy is only possible if all are staying in jungle and all are doing whatever they fit right. Absolute right of privacy is simply not possible in society as all are interwoven and government need to control and guide the society functioning. Every country has an identity card for each person. So India should have. What is so big about it? India need to have more strict rules and regulations to control its masses divided by caste, creed and religion. Our top government officials are acting as if people of India are literate and law is working effectively. Corruption and population explosion cannot be controlled by present way of democracy. It needs authoritarian law, similar to what was in 1976-77.  Let us understand, we cannot made progress with present way of functioning. It needs big change, painful change, soonest possible. We have to bring our 1/3 population out of poverty line. There is no other more important work.

Leave alone Modi, not even God can save India from ruthless poverty looking to breeding of humans at exploding rate. Old days of supplying labour and getting some $ shall not be work now. We can expect social disorder soon as few have to go after scares resources including jobs. Modi has to be ruthless and say to countrymen that country can survive as a nation only if ONE CHILD policy is adopted by all Indians including Hindu and Muslim. There is no escape what so ever. If Modi can not do it, no body else. And there after there shall be darkness with some corrupt, some so called intelligent and some rich twinkling in between. I believe it is concluded that oxygen is not the reason of death, though there was less pressure for 2 hours. This can be true as death figures of past years says so. So children's death is routine in these months and in this area. Let us take it with a pinch of salt. We Indians have habit of seeing the best pictures in every area when left alone and it does not cost. They think everything should be of Japanese standard. However if asked to make some sacrifice to get it, everyone shall turn away their face. They do not want to take pain for anything, not even for their children and grandchildren. Now we have reached to a stage with population explosion. A vast number of people going after scarce resources. There is bound to be upheaval and social unrest. Facility shall keep on failing as poorly maintained and overburdened. All such devastation shall continue to be recurring at small interval. One of the most important action of population stabilization shall be needed immediately

Repeated train accident in India

I wonder who can help avoid such accident! They are to happen and shall continue to happen! It is foolishness to think that railway or any other infrastructure can continue to work indefinitely. They need repair, they need replacement. Are enough resources and time given? The way train jumps and sways when at high speed indicates that compartments, rails and foundation are not good enough for speed of 100 Km/hr or more The kind of screeches we hear in curvature shows there is something wrong.  Let us be honest such tragedy shall continue to happen however we wish otherwise. Unless alternative tracks are laid, it shall be impossible to maintain present tracks and foundation. Let us be ready for inevitable!

Wide spread use of Xanophobia and Islamophobia in recent time !!

UN general secretary deplored the event in Charlottesville, US by saying it shows Xanophobia and Islamophobia, but did not show the practical solution!!!

This event is uncalled for. Let us see two devils GS talk about. Xenophobia- Fear of outsider. This becomes threat when outsiders take away your job or destabilize society. This is seen when outsider is joining a society and want to insist his/her behaviour in contrast to existing normal society behaviour. Same is applied to Islamophobia- Fear of seventh century behaviour in existing society ignoring present value of equality and freedom for all; men and women. The present conflict and most of conflicts for that matter is occurring due to these behaviour of new entrant. And it is normal. The solution is entirely lies on the person migrating to new society. They must understand and accept new place's value and ensure by deed that they are not threat to existing society, but can contribute to society. Unless this practiced, Xenophobia and Islamophobia will not go away. All the problems must be seen from practical point of view and not from what is the imaginary best (that is impossible)

Achhe Din in India with Modi

At the best we can say that we have better atmosphere as compared to Congress rule. And that is it. To bring “Achhe Din” is not that simple as said and believe. It needs lot of toiling and pain taking, first by leaders and then by people. All the leaders India got in last 70 years are of short sighted. Nobody saw anything beyond 5 years; time between two elections. Let us be very open. We shall go down further if we continue to work like today with whatever leaders we have. If Modi do not take big steps like population control, Judiciary reform, transparent rules and regulations, fixing responsibility of each men in government and uniform social laws, we shall not be at same level but shall further go down. Huge crowds shall chase few resources. There shall be social upheaval. Too bad a picture but it is true.

Justice system in India - long delays .....

Who is interested in fast justice system? Surely not poiliticians. For them delayed justice system is best as they can go scot free. Are people interested in fast judicial system. Answer is no as there is no outcry from any one from anywhere. So we have the best judiciary system taking cases for decade and two decades! It seems Modi is not interested in speed of judiciary system. Otherwise he could have set up reform from his first year itself. Concerned ministers are hiding themselves behind some statistics that says judge approintment is much better in their rule than in previous rule. What about pending cases statistics? This government is not interested in it. God bless India.

For India, dealing with China is to become strong!!!

Chinese menace will go on increasing as it becomes stronger day by day. Only solution for India is to become strong while keeping normal tie with China. The fact China cannot be trusted on long run. So only solution on long term is to become strong. For this we have to minimise waste of our energy by pushing down patty matters like religion, caste, creed related problems. We must have strict discipline while forgetting must have all "rights". India has to have authoritarian rule at least for few decades to bring discipline. Many not like it, but they must be brushed aside. There will be few 'humane right' issues. One need to forget it.  There is no alternatives to this to prosper country like India. Never imagine Singapore like advancement can take place here even with 1000 Lee kwan yew. The rich, illiterate (& cunning) politicians will show illiterate Indians such "stars" during day time! Time is passing. Modi must take actions on all old issue and settle them for all the time to come. Modi is yet to take any improvement action on two vital issues: Judiciary effectiveness and Population stabilization that is core at the progress of India.

Memories of 1962 war with China

In 1962 I was in village when one day all villagers gathered at Panchayat notice board depicting what Nehru said " China has stabbed us from back". He said about start of war with China. As a stupid young boy, I went with other boys to convey the message to all villagers about war and how China betrayed us...by stabbing us from back! I took Chacha Nehru's words for granted. The facts revealed as I read some books written by others clarifying what mistakes India did (and for that matter Nehru did) and we lost many lives and land as well. The small lessons are: we need to be very tricky in dealing with China, do not invite war if possible. The big lesson is: We have to be strong to be respected. And this is where we failed miserably in last 70 years of Congress rule in "full(fool?)" democracy. To become a respected power first we need to have one voice and this is only possible if we readily accept some restrictions on democratic rights!!! Are we ready? Or else China and may be Pak shall take away land and out pride as well.

Someone need to answer cooly what would have been the status of China today had 1989 Tiananmen Square protest succeeded. As per me, it would have been a nation somewhat similar to India with low per capita income and busy with day to day firefighting. For Hong Kong it is better to be with China than asking for a separate nation. Chinese, like Indians can be controlled with 'bit of discipline' only. Otherwise they shall give more priority to shellfish act than national act. Of late, it seems westerners have stopped giving advice on "Human rights and freedom of everything etc". It is good they are understanding the situation of developing countries.

Surprised to see 807 comments. It is not possible to read them all. The first question: do we need a farce called election? In my constituency there were two main parties for MP seat. One candidate was having 17 police cases and other 23 against him. Whom to vote? This is about our democracy. The other point is: History has shown again and again that country like ours can move economically up only with controlled democracy. This can be in form of one party rule. China is having 4 times per capita income as compared to India. This has not come free. One need to have discipline and become a cohesive force. This may mean sacrifice of some liberties! Whatever needed to be done to make India a cohesive force, needs to be done. Let it be authoritarian rule. In fact country like ours cannot progress without disciplined democracy. One may call it authoritarian rule. Election in India is simply fooling the people by alternate political parties!!!!! Where we stand after 70 years of full democracy? For India this is the only way. All others are talk of intelligent people fooling masses. Who need election except those politicians?

It is not important if China's population is more or less of India.  It is 3 times India's size and 3 times per capita income as compared to India. What we should talk is where we stand? Is our standard of living of poor and medium class is good enough? The fact is it is not good. It is worsening day by day as more workmen are available for few jobs. Resources are scares and more of them have been cornered by few. Income of poor and rich is having biggest gap in the world. Our timid progress cannot improve living standard of people with this rate of population growth. India has to stabilize its population. If all Indians go for one child policy, it shall take 30 years and if 2 child policy, it shall take 60 years to stabilize the population. Are we ready for it? No...no....Politicians will never like it. Their education business, health business and cheap supply of manpower will be threatened. God bless India.

Who is responsible for keeping India weak and poor? And what they are doing to move India fast economically?. They will not answer. They are stubborn. They will talk about poverty removal steps and sing song of Desh Bhakti. Poor and illiterate Indians will satisfy with this answer! The people are not worried till full freedom of democracy is available. Let country go to dog. Most of the intelligent shall see this China threat as an empty threat and brush aside. This is what they (e.g. Nehru etc) have done all these years and we know the result. We need "Authoritarian Democracy" i.e. limited democracy to progress! Are we ready?

China is saying this as it has grown from a poor country to a giant country by avoiding all odds and sticking to path they have chosen. The first task they did is unit the nation and make one country, one language, one voice. All opposed this were shown their place. India failed at this point it self not to mention about making any worthwhile further progress. We never ever got a true leader. Peace is good but it needs strength to keep peace. If India has to improve living standard, they have to choose the path chosen by China, more or less. Business shall never come by invitation. They go where opportunity is present. Finally they want to make profit at the end and not become a charity house! Modi has to take some radical steps, on social, political and economical fronts!!!

He needs to explain from where this free money has come. If he is honest he must openly say that development is underway but it will be slowed down as big money has gone to farmer. By this he  can explain his status. But who cares here? He should also understand that he shall have to shall out equal or more money for farmer next year. There shall not be any end. All farmers and others know what to do to get free bees again and politicians have to succumb to demand as they need vote. This is full circle in India and it shall keep rotating till some real catastrophe occurs. Our leaders are taking India at point of no return. It is true Yogi did a lot of work law and order area.

It is good to go, invite and discuss with CEO's of the world. However it is only 5% of total work to bring in investment. Modi and others must know this. Big company's CEOs know what is happening in the world and where the opportunities are available. By now they know that Modi government is not corrupt. However they also know that nothing has changed below his minister's level. The same corruption, delays and arrogance. The same justice system that delays justice for a decade or more. This is the truth. We have not moved much on these fronts. So it is unlikely that many company shall rush to India for investment, especially in manufacturing. They shall be too glad to come in stock market, make money and disappear! This is what is happening in India. Modi must put his all efforts to remove corruption and bureaucracy. Make taxes competitive in the world. And business that shall come running! Till than nothing will change.

If Ma is correct, where India shall stand with its ever growing population? It is really frightening. At present 1/3 of its population do not have regular work for more than 6 months in a year. Only by imagination what one can see is social upheaval in the society and breaking down social fabric. Nobody should think that this is imaginary. It is real and if not we, our children shall face it. We cannot escape painful situation that is the reward of our enjoyment of free democracy in the past and at present. Indians have to pay for what they enjoyed democracy carelessly for past 75 years.

Every Indian wants Free Bees.....for ever....

No body, including GOD can satisfy demands of farmers or anyone wanting free bees. You satisfy one and there is another ready! So what one need to do? This is old gimmicks played many times by Congress. For example 85,000 crores were pardoned before 2009 election. They won the election. So looking to success of giving free bees, everyone is putting their hands on it. But surely it cannot go for ever as nothing will be left out for development. It is still good that Tax payers are not on the street to stop politicians to give free bees. If free bees continues, some day Tax payers shall come on street. There cannot be short term solution to it. As a basic rule nothing should be given as free bees in planned way. It is allowed when some catastrophe happens. It is time to go for ONE Child Policy to reduce population. India can never never feed this exploding population. There shall be social unrest, similar to what we see now, more frequently. If Modi is sincere, he must tell the people the truth that it is not possible to feed ever increasing population and we have to say no more. Now that 3 years have passed, he shall not talk on this looking to 2019 election. Only chance he has is after 2019 election, if he wins. Will he win? Not the way it is going now. If Congress wins, what it shall do? Continue free bees!!!!!!!!

Nations at conflict; Religion and population control

Let us not talk of this religion or that religion. So far as people do not understand and respect human value that we follow at this time, there shall not be peace. One need not and should not go to religion to find what is true and what is not, every time. All that was written a thousand or two thousand years back is not all good today. Some need change. Todays conflict is due to not allowing these changes by some "interested people". And this is the root cause of conflict. Other big reason of conflict is "population explosion". Too few resources and too many chasing it. Conflict bound to happen!!!

Modi went to Germany to increase trade! This is waste of time. Germany and all developed countries know what mess we have made of businesses here in India. There are no transparent and clear laws. Even a clerk can stop any application by pointing out some rubbish by laws. Government officers are ready to "force" indirectly to shell out money. Labour law is in-sustainable in this time. Modi need and must do in house cleaning first. Make judiciary transparent and fast. We must know a judgement can not wait for a decade to deliver. This might be happening in African countries but surely not in advanced countries. Once this is done, there shall be flow of investors on its own. Till then, please keep waiting! God bless India.

Fearful poverty in India.

See the irony. Shubhawati is a health worker. Her husband is unemployed at present. They have four children!!!! She may not like if some one says she can not support even one kid, forget four. It is painful to say it. But one day some one has to say it, like it or not. Present leaders will never say such things as they will loose votes. So what is the solution? Bring authoritarian rule as in China and enforce population control. If not done, we shall have such stories everyday. Nobody, including Modi, can solve this problem even in hundred year. Where are the jobs in India?

let us not blame Modi.
Let us understand jobs can not be created over night. We have many reason to slow down employment rate; intricate government procedures, corruption to the root, taxes etc. Even if these are removed, employment can not cope with population explosion. let us face it: It is impossible to create more employment as also automation is reducing the employment chances. Agriculture is the worst place of employment. Too many people working on too small farms. In fact they should be sent to city for real productive work. But cities are too congested with idle people. The solution:  Better to go for one child policy and there shall be employment after 25 years for all !!!!! If not going for population control, there shall be social disturbance due to unemployment. And this is for sure.
Let us advise Modi to implement ONE CHILD policy immediately.

Where Indian Techies will go?

So what to do if other nations do not take Indian techies? Nothing, just sit back and listen to our leaders busy removing their poverty!  Poverty removal shall go on and on as there shall be new leaders every five years and then they go. New leaders shall blame previous one and start the same process "removing their own poverty". Poor Indians did not get a single leader who has no self-interest and who is ready to take painful decisions to stream line the country. It is bad luck of India or what? Of course these techies can apply for conductor, peon, driver etc post as has been doing now. There is absolutely no short term solution. And long term? Only if we go for ONE CHILD POLICY quickly and decisively. God bless India and their illiterate mass.

They should be mercilessly eradicated. And in few years we can see India growing. Till then we have to bear with China. There is absolutely no other way.

If yes, country shall go down and down. How to get something from such farmers in lieu of waiving off loan? Least thing government can ask is to limit their family to 2 children. This will help farmers to reduce their future responsibility and government shall save social cost of poor children. Giving anything free is same as giving poison in small lot. Government must take back something in return. This will be a fair play. Otherwise there is no difference between BJP and old government. God bless India.

Overloaded government departments and wasting tax payer's money!

Government is already overcrowded with some useless and confused employee. There are so many laws, written and unwritten, clear and ambiguous, old and new. Add to this lot of manual work. I do not think we need more than 50% of present government employees. With this number also we can get better services. Government must go on line for all the activities and reduce staff further.

In fact I would say, it was written by the people with biased minded, some Saints, some caste biased, some foreign sighted and so on. Nobody was having foresight of India. I believe Modi and Yogi have that foresight at present and they must be allowed to work within constitution or outside constitution, if required. Imminent literate like Nariman or like-minded should join for change that is good for the country. It is no use to cling to dead wood.

UP and India got a real leader. What is needed from public at large is to back him by continuously writing of him and when needed showing sign of support by show street. Common people must understand that in democracy, all need to show support to good things and deny that are bad actions. If not done evils may take over as has happened since last 70 years!!!!

Great actions! The first thing needed to take such actions is selflessness. All most all leaders have own interest in becoming MLA/MP/Minister. All the government officials believe that they are on permanent roll of government and nobody can touch them, whether they work or not. In fact they expect (take) bribery for work. Had we got leaders like Modi/Yogi at the time of independence, we would have been developed country by now. Leaders from Gandhi till MMS had no foresight for country. Some were Saints and others were spectators. It is absolutely important that this government continue at least for next 10-15 years. Leaders take hard decisions for the future of country, let it hit some very hard and bring pain.

This area is not been touched by Modi yet. He must know that this is one of the most important area to be made transparent, quick and time bound. Bloomberg said something and ET simply copy. Great work! Please remember Bloomberg is in country where people are educated and not illiterate like Indian. I feel Bloomberg did not like rising star like Modi as stars borne only in US and Europe! I also think Bloomberg have enough in hand looking to what turmoil going on in US. Great start. He has given promises to people and people have elected him. He must try to fulfil all the manifestos. Loan Waiver is biggest of all. If he does it, there shall be little money available for development. As a compromise, he should pardoned only small part of loan. He must know that free bees do not bring any benefit on long term. There are only drawbacks. Let farmers fill a little let down. Development shall be seen by all in future and so more money should be allocated to it. News Paper starts criticizing BJP before UP government formed.

Absolutely wrong heading by newspaper! In fact it is  silly. I never know that these paper Walla afraid of change so much. Leaders bring change and change for good. Modi is doing it and Yogi shall do it. However such comment from newspaper creates hurdle in implementation and creates confusions and doubts before process starts. These papers creates wall in implementation of program for all. I am sure it will be realized soon. Paper must look for development and improving living standard of people.

Foundation of Rioting in factory has been laid by our union leaders of past, starting from George Fernandes. There were many union leaders terrorising business. They were not punished properly. There was also corrupt government most of the time looking for vote from workers. This militancy increased year by year. The worst effect is lack of investment and progress of country. India remain a backward country with $2,000 per capita income. Employer must have free hand to change & replace inefficient person. Unless this is done, manufacturing growth is impossible.

60% of engineering graduates are unemployed at present. The reason is poor education! There is nothing far from truth! Let us face it. Let us understand the reason “ simply there are no jobs.” There is no economic progress and population of engineers is exploding. Modi cannot solve this problem by slogans. He has to act on both fronts; fast economic development & population control. This is the only way to solve unemployment problem in long term. Otherwise be prepared to face social upheaval..... Why Indian employee need to go to other countries.

It is no use advising US. First Prasad should look within the country. Employees are going abroad to have opportunities and better life. Only statistic presentation and comparing with other states? What about reasons of delay, how to cut time, what actions and what is target? Nothing? This is how we bring inefficiency. All the delay reasons should be listed and immediate actions taken to remove them. Target should be to complete at least 2,00,000 cases per year and nothing less. But all this need leadership and we have very little, if at all, of it. Everything is messed up. Many takes benefits out of present system. God bless India and Gujarat.

Is giving "identity' card to all Indians is too big a task after 70 years of independence? What kind of "small" thinking we have? Giving Aadhar card is much delayed due to non-sense talking of many leaders. It is not clear when our leaders shall start thinking long term. No need to say we, so called intelligent Indians, have so far not realized consequences of exploding population. This has to be one of the top priority immediately. Let us pray Namo looks in to this.

Developing UP is good. It should be done by state government. However this is only small part. The most important jobs Modi government should take up are stream lining governing processes and making them transparent. Making time bound activities and approvals. And quick justice system. Only this will go long way to improve living standard. Population stabilization is a must to push up living standard. Namo, by now must have realized that people are with him and he can take whatever decisions, may be painful, to improve living standard and reduce corruption. He must have read latest report on corruption lever we have in India.

Absolutely correct observation. Indian corruption that run in every Indian's blood can not be removed with steps like demonetization. As said, it need well laid path, that is painful and extremely difficult. What Namo has done in last 2 1/5 years and extension of it for next 7 1/2 years will not remove corruption to great extent. It may dampen a bit. That is it.  Nothing more.

The question who have majority in Rajya Sabha is important at present. However it places more important to non elected representatives as against elected. And this is what need to be corrected. Rajya Sabha is basically should be advisory body and nothing else. For this constitutional changes must be adopted to as soon as possible. Namo must do it for good future of country. It can stop the decision of Lok Sabha only in critical decision like nuclear war or similar. Else it must remain advisory body, may be like President.

This is one of the opinion. Let us see the facts. If you go to colleges producing IT graduates and see the facility & faculty they have, it would not be difficult to conclude on poor quality of engineers. This or any other company shall retain employees till they remain profitable. Surely they shall give lay off once they do not have job for employees. Let us understand, basically we are too many (population). Mushrooming colleges cannot produce quality engineers. We have to take these comments in right spirit and take actions. FDI are not charity firms. They are here to make profit at the end. And they shall go as soon as they feel this place is not right. It is time of introspection.

Not only Mexico City is facing water shortage! Most of the big cities in developing countries are facing acute water shortage. Bombay, India with good rain fall and enough water reservoirs faced acute water shortage in summer of 2016. Similar water shortage shall bring social unrest in future as population shall increase exponentially. There are no quick fix for this. Desalination plant was talked but no leader took any initiative. Everything forgotten by next monsoon. This is the same story all over big cities in India. Unless population stabilization is implemented quickly, there looks to be chain of problems that will be difficult to solve. Poor shall continue to grind themselves amid shortages. They will not get their voice through the intricate political system. Let us hope India get a good leader.

Medical expences to reduce by lower price of stent!!!!

This country is too big to keep control on price on item like stent. Hospitals, mostly by politicians, like to have big profit at any cost. If government forced them to reduce price of stent, where 200% profit was available, price on other services shall be increased to compensate this loss. It is simple. Just raise operation cost by 100%, assistance cost by another 100% and total comes to same! The far reaching solution is to create a competitive environment where hospitals themselves keep prices competitive. For example have more seats for post graduation study, reduction in price of land for hospitals, income tax relief for initial years etc. This will ensure good medical services at proper price. Of course, a watch need to be kept for die hard profiteers.

Forward path to progress....India

Free bees...by one and all politicians to get vote is common practice when people are illiterate and poor. Poor people see more of tomorrow than few years ahead. It is not their fault. All the faults are lying with leaders; starting from Gandhi till date. Modi is also afraid of taking tough decisions fearing vote loss. However he must understand that now people are ready to back him for decisions that brings living standard improvement in long term. However he still is in old mood. Rahul is spent force and have no credibility. This paper should put no more than 2 lines for this person. If Modi continue to talk and take decisions as he is taking now, he may lose 2019 election. Past Indian PM was a gentleman!!!!

Yes, Manmohan Singh is gentleman. But what you do him as PM for what he needs to have leadership quality. He is the person who wasted 10 precious years of India. Let us understand this. He was never a decision maker. In fact he never thought of improving life of Indians!!! Knowing some financial figures is just not enough. He is no where near to a leader in whom people trust for future.

Indian PM Modi must take up critical problems faced by India

Absolutely  correct. Now a days Modi spent more of his time in criticizing oppositions. As a real leader he must think on future of country for next 2,5,10, 15...years from now. He must take courageous decisions one by one. If he thinks that demonetization shall take his ship to next term, forget it. Also he should start discussing points that brings country together now and in future. He must also talk of existing problems that will come on way of progress after 5, 10, 15 years. Major points he need to focus now are population stabilization, justice speed, make religion irrelevant for politics, bring Kashmir together with rest of country, remove reservation on caste base. All our leaders, starting from Gandhiji and till dates, have kept themselves away from the problems. I thought Namo shall take these problems head on, but it seems he, too lacks courage. He must understand people are with him and will be with him if such decisions are taken. He should not waste time any further.

Aparna is perfectly right. She is a new comer to politics and this is the obvious utterance from a person like her. As usual, she will learn to tell what is good for party rather than what is good for country in short time. Like other leaders she will stop talking the truth. But at least we have to believe her courage at this time. Indian leaders do not talk on efficiency and only about caste, religion etc to pass the time. They have foresight of making money for their family while totally missing foresight for future of nation. This country shall remain poor for years to come due to leaders that we have. Forget about any word from so called intelligent people as they are busy with human right, no responsibility etc. May God save this country from food and water riots in coming years. Riots? However he must tell the nation how many old notes printed, how many old notes have been received, of this how many duplicate notes, how many new notes issued. He shall lose credibility if does not do it immediately. He if cannot do it, he must apologize the nation for his misadventure.

Let us understand, India cannot afford more population any more. Our living standard shall go down further if we continue to produce more children. Whatever we say today, Indira Gandhi had clear vision on population control and took correct stand in 1976. She knew without controlling population we simply cannot move forward. Our lot many leaders with lot of wisdom did not like it and provoke people to vote against population control (the real reason was to capture power by them). Now see where we have come!! Our 74% population continue to stay in villages. Our 1/3 population continue to stay under poverty line. However progressive government comes, it shall never be able to bring up living standard without population control. This is hard fact and turning away from it shall be like Ostrich putting head in sand. Shakshi Maharaj is absolutely correct on control of population by all Indians.
